Podwójny recital solowy. W programie wybrane przez artystów utwory Fryderyka Chopina.
An exceptional double solo recital by two outstanding Polish pianists – participants of the 19th International Chopin Piano Competition: Zuzanna Sejbuk and Krzysztof Wierciński. The artists will present a selection of Fryderyk Chopin’s works they prepared especially for the competition.

Born in Szczecin, Zuzanna Sejbuk is an exceptionally gifted young pianist who began playing the piano at the age of five. She took her first steps under Hanna Urbańska in her hometown before continuing her education in Kraków at the Fryderyk Chopin State Secondary Music School under Olga Łazarska. She is currently a student at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw, studying piano with Professor Joanna Ławrynowicz-Just.
Her remarkable talent, refined technique, and natural musicality have been recognized in numerous piano competitions in Poland and abroad. Zuzanna Sejbuk is a laureate of competitions in Sweden, Latvia, and Estonia. Among her recent achievements are: Grand Prix, Piano Talents for Europe in Dolný Kubín, Slovakia (2021), Grand Prix, National Fryderyk Chopin Competition in Turzno (2022), First Prize, 5th National Adam Harasiewicz Piano Competition in Warsaw (2024).
Writing about Sejbuk’s performance in the first stage of the 19th Chopin Competition, critic Mateusz Ciupka noted in Ruch Muzyczny: “On the other side, there was Zuzanna Sejbuk, the only Polish participant. She played Chopin directly – with a communicative, clear tone, a beautiful, butterfly-like articulation in the Étude in G-sharp minor Op. 25 No. 6, and a crystal-clear cantilena in the rarely chosen Nocturne in G major Op. 37 No. 2. It’s a pity she won’t meet her colleague in the second stage – I will miss that.”

Zuzanna Sejbuk’s Recital in Stage I of the 19th International Chopin Piano Competition:

Krzysztof Wierciński comes from a musical family and began studying piano following in the footsteps of his older brother, Andrzej Wierciński, already an acclaimed pianist on the international stage. He began his piano studies at the age of seven and, like Zuzanna Sejbuk, is currently studying at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw in the piano class of Professor Joanna Ławrynowicz-Just.
Krzysztof Wierciński’s remarkable talent and musical sensitivity have been recognized at many national and international piano competitions. He is a prize-winner of: First Prize, 5th National Chopin Competition in Turzno, First Prize, 5th International Chopin Competition in Rzeszów, Third Prize, Euregio Piano Award, First Prize, ISCART International Music Competition in Lugano, Switzerland, Fifth Prize, 12th International Competition for Young Pianists “Arthur Rubinstein in memoriam” in Bydgoszcz. One of his recent accomplishments was Third Prize at the 51st National Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw. Following that success, Paweł Wołowicz wrote in Ruch Muzyczny:
“Third Prize laureate Krzysztof Wierciński appears to be the most versatile of all the finalists. I was impressed by the richness of his abilities, creativity, and attention to even the smallest detail. In the Ballade in A-flat major Op. 47, his radiant tone wove together brilliance, charm, and even wit.”
