Bartosz Koziak
Bartosz Koziak has gained recognition from both audiences and critics for his distinctive interpretations of works by classical and contemporary composers alike. For many years, he was regularly invited to participate in concert projects by Krzysztof Penderecki. He took part in the first recording of Concerto grosso conducted by the Composer himself.His discography includes, among others, recordings of Bohuslav Martinů’s Cello Concerto No. 2, the premiere recording of Feliks Nowowiejski’s Cello Concerto (DUX), which was awarded the Fryderyk Award 2023, as well as a CD featuring the sonatas by Nikolai Kapustin, which received the “Musical Eagles” award.
He has performed at prestigious venues such as the Konzerthaus in Berlin, Rudolfinum in Prague, Cité de la Musique in Paris, Teatro Politeama in Palermo, Khachaturian Concert Hall in Yerevan, and the National Philharmonic in Warsaw.
As a soloist, he has collaborated with orchestras including: the National Philharmonic Orchestra, NOSPR, Sinfonia Varsovia, Orchestre Philharmonique de Monte Carlo, Concerto Budapest, the Armenian State Orchestra, and the National Orchestra of Ukraine, under the baton of Krzysztof Penderecki, Jan Krenz, Antoni Wit, Gabriel Chmura, Jacek Kaspszyk, András Keller, Volodymyr Sirenko, and Sergey Smbatyan.
