Online Auditions Open - Join ILYO now
The online auditions for the International Lutosławski Youth Orchestra 2026 are now open. It is a stress-free and easy procedure. We have prepared everything to make the audition process smooth. We are accepting applications until April 30, 2026.
Remember: the International Lutosławski Youth Orchestra session in 2026 will start on August 31 and end on September 6.

How to take part in our online auditions?
Note: To participate in the ILYO project, you must be between 18 and 30 years old. This means you must be born between September 7, 1996, and August 30, 2008.

We keep our fingers crossed for you and can’t wait to receive your applications.
- Check the list of required pieces for your instrument in the AUDITIONS tab in our website menu.
- Record two videos of the mandatory excerpts: one with the concerto exposition, and the second with the orchestral excerpts.
- Upload your videos to YouTube, Google Drive, or a similar platform. Ensure the privacy setting allows anyone with the link to view them (e.g., set to "Unlisted" on YouTube).
- Prepare your short bio in English (max 2000 characters)
- Click the “Application form” button on our website.
- Fill out the application form. That’s it!
