Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra (NOSPR)

Adam Krzeszowiec is one of the most charismatic and versatile Polish cellists of his generation-an artist with an established international reputation. He combines solo, chamber, and orchestral activities, performing on Europe’s best stages and collaborating with distinguished musicians of the highest calibre.

He serves as Principal Cellist of the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra in Katowice and appears as Guest Principal Cellist with the BBC Symphony Orchestra in London, reflecting his strong standing within the international musical community.

He has performed in prestigious concert venues such as Wigmore Hall in London, Salle Gaveau in Paris, and Victoria Hall in Geneva. As a soloist and chamber musician, he has collaborated with artists including Maria João Pires, Mischa Maisky, and Augustin Dumay, as well as with leading orchestras across Europe and Asia.

A prizewinner of numerous international competitions, he is regularly invited to renowned music festivals such as the Verbier Festival and the Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival. His recordings have received critical acclaim and have been repeatedly nominated for the Fryderyk Award.

He forms an acclaimed duo with pianist Anna Krzeszowiec, and as a member of the Polish Cello Quartet, he maintains an active concert and pedagogical career. He is also the initiator of the International Cello Festival in Katowice and co-organizer of the International Cello Academy in Nysa.

Since 2012, he has served as Principal Cellist of the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra in Katowice and as a faculty member in the String Department of the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice.
