This year’s auditions brought an unprecedented 551 applications, which made the evaluation of all submissions significantly more time-consuming than originally anticipated. At the International Lutosławski Youth Orchestra, we value every submitted application, and our priority is to ensure that all recordings are reviewed with equal attention and that every audition participant receives the fairest and most thorough evaluation possible. In addition, the artistic level of this year’s applications is exceptionally high, which is why the we need additional time to carefully assess all submissions.
