New Woodwind Section Tutor
We regret to inform you that, due to unforeseen circumstances, Cristina Gómez Godoy has had to step down as the woodwind tutor for the International Lutosławski Youth Orchestra 2026.
On a brighter note, we are thrilled to welcome Arek Adamczyk to the ILYO 2026 faculty. Arek built the acclaimed bassoon program at the Academy of Music in Poznań and frequently performs as a guest principal with leading British orchestras.

A laureate of Poland's most prestigious bassoon competitions, Arek regularly takes the stage as guest principal bassoonist with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, the BBC Concert Orchestra, and the London Mozart Players. He maintains an active career as a soloist, notably giving the world premiere of Adrian Williams’ bassoon concerto, Spectrum, which the composer dedicated to him.
