We announce the 13th edition of the International Lutosławski Youth Orchestra project
The long-awaited dates of the ILYO 2025 are now made public. We invite young classical musicians from all countries of the world to the Szczecin Philharmonic (North-West Poland) for the 13th time. This year ILYO session will take place between August 18 and 24.

Welcome! The International Lutosławski Youth Orchestra (ILYO) is a project designed for young musicians who want to gain experience in playing in a symphony orchestra and develop their musical skills. The ILYO session lasts seven days, and is filled with classes with tutors of the individual instrumental sections and tutti rehearsals with an experienced conductor and soloist. The session culminates with two symphonic concerts in two distinct venues, of which one is always the golden symphony hall of the Szczecin Philharmonic. What’s new this year?
Well, not only the colours of our website :)
The most important change is our new website address. It is now as simple as ilyo.pl
No more need to switch the website from Polish to English, from now on English is our default language (you can switch the language to Polish in the MENU).
Online auditions for the International Lutosławski Youth Orchestra 2025 will open on March 15 and last till May 15.
Another very important change was made in our application form. As in the previous years there were many technical issues regarding the registration and log in process on our website, we decided to implement a simple Google Form to solve the problem. So from now to apply for the International Lutosławski Youth Orchestra you don’t need anymore to create an account on our website or to log in anywhere. You just click the link to the application form (available from March 15 till May 15 under the APPLY NOW tab in the menu).
Another new feature is the AUDITIONS tab in the menu, where we gathered all the information you need to prepare your application, and made it as simple and stress-free as possible. Instructions regarding how to properly fill our application form can be found in the APPLY NOW tab (available from March 15)
For the first time this year we will also open the auditions and application for harpists. Although they will be selected by the conductor and not the tutors as in the case of other instruments.
Last but not least, our email address has changed and simplified, you can now reach us by writing at contact@ilyo.pl (emails using the old address info@ilyo.filharmonia.szczecin.pl will be automatically redirected)
