Aleksandra Gołaj - percussion - NFM Wrocław Philharmonic
Wrocław resident, percussionist, musician. Graduate of the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław. She also studied at the L. Janacek Academy of Music in Brno. Winner of many competitions, including 1st prize at the VI Giornate Della Percussione vibraphone competition in Fermo. Scholarship holder of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage and the Mayor of Wrocław. Permanently associated with the NFM Wrocław Philharmonic percussion section.
Member of the Ensemble Kompopolex – a trio specializing in contemporary music. As a chamber musician, Aleksandra regularly performs at festivals of contemporary music. In recent years, these have included: Musica Polonica Nova (2018, 2024), Musica Electronica Nova (2017, 2023), ISCM World Music Days 2014, Muzyka na Szczytach (2015), Warsaw Autumn (2019, 2020, 2023), Sacrum Profanum (2020,2021), Musica Moderna (2024), Musica Privata (2021), Unerhoerte Musik/Berlin (2021), Mixtur/Barcelona (2023), Klang/Copenhagen (2024), Heroines of Sound/Berlin (2024). Aleksandra regularly performs premieres of both Polish and foreign composers. She collaborates with the Wrocław branch of the Polish Composers' Union. In the years 2015-2018 she was a lecturer in the percussion class at the Academy of Music in Wrocław.
